External Advisor: Professor Brian S. Thompson
 

Dr Brian Thompson is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University(MSU) in East Lansing Michigan and he also serves as an MSU Outreach & Engagement Senior Fellow.  Dr Thompson was educated in England and Scotland before entering British industry.  Subsequently he moved to academia in the USA where he has published extensively and he has written several books.  His current work is dedicated to enhancing the human condition in both East Africa and Peru.
