Mission

Carbonneutralvolunteers.org is a voluntary organization dedicated to reducing global green house gas emissions. The goal of the site is to empower individuals around the world with the knowledge and opportunities to reduce their carbon footprint.

Under the United Nations Kyoto Protocols, over 160 countries agreed to reduce their carbon emissions to 1990 levels. Numerous corporations have also pledged to become “carbon neutral". While these efforts are indeed noteworthy they are too slow and arduous to adequately respond to the rampant threat of global climate change.

Today individuals account for 50% of all green house gas emissions. People around the world want to do their part to reduce their carbon foot print and help mitigate the devastating threat of global warming, but don’t know where to start. Good well meaning people simply don’t know what they can do what quantitative impact it will have on the environment.

The goal of carbonneuralvolunteers.org is to fill the leadership vacuum and provide the global community with information about energy, global warming, and what can be done to stop it.

Go Green! Be the change you want to see in the world!
